These Terms of Use govern your use of AyeTab — the browser extension, web app, and related marketing site at ayeteab.com. By installing or using AyeTab, you agree to these terms.

What AyeTab is

AyeTab is a free, offline-first developer toolbox. Tools run locally in your browser. We do not operate an account system, and we do not process your tool input on our servers.

License

Unless a different license is stated in the repository, AyeTab source code is provided under the MIT License. You may use, copy, modify, and distribute the software subject to that license.

Acceptable use

• Use AyeTab for lawful purposes only.
• Do not attempt to reverse-engineer store listings, impersonate AyeTab, or distribute malware under the AyeTab name.
• Do not abuse browser APIs or extension permissions beyond what AyeTab requests for its documented features.

New tab replacement

Installing the extension may replace your browser’s new tab page. You can restore the default at any time by disabling or removing AyeTab from your browser’s extensions page.

No warranty

AyeTab is provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Tool outputs (formatting, encoding, hashing, JWT decoding, and similar) are for convenience; verify critical results independently.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the authors and contributors of AyeTab are not liable for any claim, damages, or other liability arising from your use of the software — whether in contract, tort, or otherwise.

Third-party services

Links to the Chrome Web Store, Firefox Add-ons, GitHub, or the hosted web app are provided for convenience. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies.

Privacy

How AyeTab handles data is described in the Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The “Last updated” date above will change when we revise them.
